Entrepreneur and Former Pharmacy Executive Joins Bank’s Board

Gorham Savings Bank, a leading Southern Maine financial services institution, announced that Catherine Cloudman has been named to the bank’s board of directors effective December 1.

“Catherine brings a wealth of financial and business management experience from her time as an owner, chief financial officer (CFO), and board member of several Maine companies.” said Steve deCastro, president and CEO of Gorham Savings Bank. “She’s been a fantastic judge for the bank’s LaunchPad business competition, where her entrepreneurial instincts have helped us identify worthy winners. We look forward to hearing her perspective as a member of our accomplished board.”

Cloudman, a Gorham native, is an owner and former CFO of Village Fertility Pharmacy, a multi-site national specialty pharmacy caring for patients undergoing infertility treatment and assisted reproductive therapies. Prior to that, she was a founder and CFO of Apothecary by Design. Her career started as a certified public accountant at KPMG in Boston.

Cloudman said of her appointment, “My very first bank account was with Gorham Savings. As a Gorham native, it’s truly gratifying to come full circle and contribute to such a community-focused organization with such dedicated and active employees.”

Cloudman holds a duel degree in accounting and advertising from Syracuse University and an MBA from Boston College. She resides in South Portland with her husband and three children.
