Employees, Laura Mingione and Samantha Croteau were recently presented with the 2015 Gorham’s Greatest Customer Service Award. This prestigious award, now in its 4th year, is given annually to two individuals who are role models of the Bank’s five Tenets of Customer Service. The peer-nominated candidates were carefully reviewed by a selection committee giving special focus to their commitment to internal and external customer service.

Laura Mingione is a Data Processing Specialist at the Bank’s Operations Center in Gorham. Laura was recognized for going above and beyond, always following up and helping anywhere and everywhere she can – whether or not it’s in her department. She gets what it means to be part of a team and she continues to have the Bank, her co-workers and our customers’ best interests at heart. Her continued leadership and involvement with the Winter Wishes program for the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Maine is nothing short of awe inspiring.

Samantha Croteau is an Administrative Assistant at the Main Office in Gorham. She was recognized for always lending a hand to the community – whether it’s volunteering or participating in one of the Bank’s many activities. She’s been found shoveling snow at the bank to clear the way for our customers, spending her lunch break researching the best way to help someone find a solution to their problem, and even helping another organization at a community event on a weekend when they needed it most. It’s not just her fellow co-workers that sing her praise, but customers love her cheerful resourcefulness too!

In short, 2015 was another great year of Exceptional People and Exceptional Service at Gorham Savings Bank. Congratulations Laura and Sam!
