We are modifying the way you login to Business Bill Pay on Saturday, October 12, 2013. There will be an interruption in service for approximately an hour that day, however we are not able to pinpoint the exact time the update will take place.
We are upgrading the way Business customers access the Bill Pay system. Users will no longer need to login to Business Bill Pay separately from Online Banking. A single Online Banking login will give you access to the Bill Pay system.
WHY DID WE UPGRADE?
- Convenience. It’s easier.
- Safety. Our Online Banking login has “Out of Band Authentication” which has added security.
- Next step, mobile banking for business. Connecting Online Banking and Business Bill Pay allows us to put them together on our Mobile App as well.
IF YOU WENT DIRECTLY TO BUSINESS BILL PAY IN THE PAST:
You will not be able to login the old way, and will need to login to Online Banking to access the Bill Pay system. Please call the Customer Service Center at (207) 839-4796 for assistance.
IF YOU HAVE NEVER USED BUSINESS BILL PAY:
Users pay $6.95 per month, which gives you 20 payments. After that there is a 50 cent fee per payment starting at the 21st payment in a month. Here’s how other businesses have been using it:
Vendor payments. Including, repetitive ones, especially when an electronic ACH payment has not been established.
One off payments. Those once-in-a-while payments that come up – you can create, enter, and send within minutes.
Expedited payments. An option for next day delivery of a check at an additional fee to cover mailing costs.
