Updated April 16th: As anticipated, funding for the SBA Paycheck Protection Program reached its limit quickly and the SBA is no longer accepting new applications for the program. However, GSB will continue to work diligently on applications received through noon, April 15th to ensure they are ready to be submitted if the SBA continues the program.
There are reports that the government is contemplating extending the program and allocating more funds. We are monitoring this very closely and should the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) resume, we will notify PPP applicants and let them know if there are any additional items needed to complete their application.
We are recommending all applicants contact their congressional representatives and urge them to support additional funding of the PPP by calling the U.S. Capitol at 202-224-3121.
We wish to thank all who have chosen Gorham Savings Bank as their banking partner in the SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program.
If you have further questions regarding the PPP, we welcome you to explore our Business Resources page here.
